I think Texas would want to make a bigger splash, not another project. I.E. Chip Kelly

Chad Morris may be the next Longhorn coach. But Herman has a big time job in his near future.

He seems to have the perfect pedigree: high powered offenses, extensive Texas connections, Urb disciple, young, great track record thus far
If he cleans up at UofH- which has proven to be a great spring board job- he'll have a couple great jobs begging for his services

He's really impressed me at Houston. He's recruiting really good and has that team looking real good.
Also worth noting that Ohio States offense seems to miss him a little also.
I think Texas should stick with Strong for another year since this is still just his second year. Then if things don't get any better look for Herman. I don't think Texas needs a splash hire, they need a up and coming future possible great coach. I think Herman fits that perfectly.

People seem to forget Coog High won 8 games last year. I think wait on conference season to end.

He's definitely one of the best gameday coaches out there. I wish we had him back calling plays, that's for sure. It'll be interesting to see how he does with running a program and recruiting.

He has a top 50 recruiting class right now which includes one 5-star.
And they are 4-0.
