Occasionally taking a dive to draw a foul is one thing, all the histrionics and fake wincing and bullshite melodrama throughout the World Cup Final is something else.

Using it as your out for not liking soccer is a cop out.
What am I trying to cop out of? Like, what?

SO unless you're ready to stop liking the NBA (NFL is starting to get some ridiculous flops too), then just say you don't like soccer.
I said if it gets as bad as soccer, I will quit watching. It's not as bad (yet)

No need to give a halfbaked excuse for it.
It's a fully formed opinion based on ~100 hours of observing three World Cups over 12 years

Do you not understand the language?

Well, you're greatly exaggerating what happens in soccer, why not do that for the other sports too? Is it maybe you just don't like soccer and are trying to make up reasons to not watch it?

Well, that settles it. You're an expert.

I agree. I already said that. It's not nearly as bad as you say it is though.

Correct, I guess. Can you not answer the question? What am I trying to cop out of?

I'm not greatly exaggerating. I truly observe it as a great problem in World Cup soccer, and less of a problem in other sports.

I didn't claim to be an expert. I claimed I watched a lot of soccer and saw a lot of pathetic girliness.

Asking what you're copping out of shows you don't understand the language.

I'm not greatly exaggerating.

The frick you aren't

And that means jack shite.

100 hours over 12 years isn't exactly a lot of soccer. You have no idea what you're talking about.

You never said what I was copping out of. A cop-out is when you make an excuse to avoid something you don't like. If the flopping I don't like is my cop-out excuse for not watching soccer, then what's the real reason I don't like it? Huh?

My first post said specifically the World Cup, and I went out of my way to be sensitive to fragile little defensive soccer fans, by saying IDK about EPL or "regular soccer".

False.

frick if I know, but you're exaggerating the flopping to use it as your excuse.

My first post said specifically the World Cup

And it's a gross exaggeration.

That doesn't excuse your exaggerations.
