But Jesus the Pistons, holy Moses.

The Pistons won't stop losing
Think back to last month on Oct. 28. We seemed so young, didn’t we?
It was the weekend before Halloween, so everyone dressed up like Barbie, Ken and Oppenheimer. The first weekend of 2023-24 NBA action was underway. And the Detroit Pistons beat Charlotte and Chicago by double digits to start the season 2-1. Cade Cunningham was making shots, Jalen Duren rebounded everything, and Detroit flirting with April’s Play-In Tournament didn’t seem so crazy.
Guess what hasn’t happened since that fateful night? The 2-13 Pistons haven’t won a single basketball game, though they’ve have had several close calls:
Nov. 1 vs. Blazers: Detroit led by 12 at halftime and entered the fourth quarter with the lead. Portland outscored the Pistons 27-17 in the final period to win 110-101. The Blazers are 1-7 since then.
Nov. 6 vs. Warriors: At home, the Pistons took a third-quarter lead after trailing at halftime. Golden State outscored Detroit by 10 in the fourth to win 120-109, pushing the latter's streak to five.
Nov. 8 at Bucks: Down by 119-118 with nine seconds left, Cunningham turned it over and then missed a half-court heave that would’ve won it at the buzzer. Milwaukee won 120-118.
Then, there’s last night. Nuggets coach Michael Malone was ejected in the first quarter before Nikola Jokic was ejected in horrible fashion in the next period (refs are out of control). Detroit had 24 minutes to grind out a win against the rest of Denver, which still doesn’t have Jamal Murray. The game was tied 103-103 with 1:41 left.
The Pistons went scoreless for the remainder of the game and lost their 12th straight game, 107-103. Their losing streak is two shy of tying the team’s longest in a single season. Detroit visits 7-5 Indiana on Friday and hosts Washington after that. If the Pistons don’t beat the 2-11 Wizards, they legitimately might not win again in 2023.
They’ve won four games since last season’s All-Star break — four.
Twenty teams have four wins this calendar month.

I really enjoyed the NBA up until about 3 years ago. I almost never watch it now.

Cade Cunningham sucking arse certainly doesn’t help.

Is this he new, "I was in the doctors office and First Take was on ESPN so I watched it"?

They dont allow the NBA where I live

It's called tanking. If they are ahead late they leave in their shitty bench players long enough to let that disappear.

Still a better product than the NFL where you watch for 3 hours for the ball to be in motion roughly 10-15 minutes. You are watching commercials, play clock between plays, and now reviewing of calls. There’s very little defense played in either league. At least b-ball has the ball in motion and a lot more actual action

This is the weirdest thread I’ve seen in some time.
There is absolutely no continuity from title to body

Same I never watched regular season games but always watched the playoffs. But not in the last few years.

The actual body of the first post is an article from The Athletic.
