Just read that Walker said he could still play in the NFL. Not every down, but he thinks he could play.

Opinions?

I saw his debut mma fight a few years ago at strike force miami. He kicked some arse. He's a bad dude. If he says he can do it, I'm not going to argue with him.

He is in great shape. If anyone in their 50s could play, it would be him.

Would love to see him take a couple carries in the 1st preseason game or something.

I don't know if he could play or not but he would absolutely rule the Combine.

Blocking on extra points? Sure. Running the ball? Injured with the quickness.

Other former SEC players that could still play:

Joe Namath
Bo Jackson
Y.A. Tittle
Archie Manning
Tim Tebow
Jared Lorenzen

If Tebow would just suck it up and be a TE, he's got skills.

I don't think he could hold up for many games, but I bet he could still play some fullback.

I think he could still catch a pass out of the backfield and punish some DBs.

Speculation based off what I've seen so far. Good runner and can take a beating. He's an athlete. I have faith he can catch.
