Has there ever been an NBA player teetering on greatness/irrelevancy as much as Hardwn?

This guy’s legacy seemingly fluctuates game to game. I’ve never seen anything like it.

If he threw together ONE epic playoff run to a ring he’d be right up there with some of the greatest 30 or so players ever. Two and he’d be solidified as one of the best ever and memorable/unique and be talked about for decades.

This guy goes from unreal to clown on a game to game basis.

It’s wild.

Idk if you heard, but he did better against the GOAT Warriors than everyone except the Cavs that one time and the raptors that other time

Jim 2/7 from 3.
5/13 overall

It's really just a pathetic effort from the supposed greatest offensive player ever.

Best player on the team goes out and instead of rising up Jim shrinks. Once again.

he makes the right basketball play. If his teammates are open, they get the ball. As for his shooting the refs missed a few obvious calls that would made that 5/10 with 25 or so points. But you didn’t watch bc you wouldn’t have even brought that up.

Now we're blaming officials? Wow

And its really about the shot attempts. You would think an elite scorer like Jim would take 20 plus with embiid out.

But what does he do? Defer. Textbook playoff Jim at this point

If the right basketball play is dish and wait at half court then yes. I watched the game, I know basketball, harden mailed it in tonight.

That makes it official. WBB’s “summer vacation” is starting in less than 10 days.

He is a point guard. The only player in league history who can lead the league in assists for a seasons and also score over 35 for a season.

His playoff BPM is somewhere around 10th all time. He has been better than some of the greatest players in the league history, and in many cases a lot better.

So harden is worse than people like Giannis, jokic, kawhi, Paul, and mcgrady. Right WBB?

And better than Kobe, Wade, wilt, Duncan, Shaq, Kareem etc. yep

Cp has a losing playoff series record and is 0-2 v harden so we can eliminate him.

So we’ve rightfully established now that Chris Paul was the best player and leader of those rockets teams. Perfect.

We’ve also established that harden has no business being in the conversation either Gianni’s or kawhi

Or Tracy mcgrady for that matter.

Cp 0-2 v harden in the playoffs with more help both times.

McGrady lost in rd 1 every year so never played many tough teams/series. Harden been outta round 1 abojt 10 years in a row. Hardens rd 1 BPM easily clears Tracy.

Paul has higher PER, ws/48, bpm, and vorp in the playoffs. It really isn’t even a debate.

What’s garden’s playoff series record and head to head compared to Duncan, Wade, kobe, etc?

Paul has lost more playoff series than he has won and 0-2 v harden. When they shared the court CP was inferior in every series. He is eliminated from the conversation.
