NBC Sports coverage of the English Premier League is incredible. They seriously do such a fantastic job from the studio talking heads (Rebecca Lowe ) to great in game broadcasters

I do enjoy me some EPL and Bundisleague. Wish they would do more la leaga and league un. Real Madrid and Barca are just as fun to watch as the big EPL guys. Love me some Neymar, Messi and Rinaldo!

It's basically nothing but former ESPN employees.

It legit pisses me off that Bein has La Liga and Serie A rights.

No clue who has Ligue 1 or if there's even a US tv deal for it, but I doubt Bein loses La Liga anytime soon. It's really their only draw aside from some international soccer games (USMNT away matches)

When I read this I literally looked up the word antithesis to make sure that I wasn't completely off in my understanding of the word's meaning.

What exactly does this mean?

Non-white-men get to express an opinion too?

Not to me.

ESPN has big time sporting events and amazing Sports documentaries.

What's the most exciting thing on FS1? UFC pay per view undercard matches?

All of these guys were near the top of everyone's most hated personalities at espn list during their respective time at espn.

Day time tv sucks. Espn's day time tv is especially bad since they can't just run Seinfeld repeats all day. So the time between live sports has become a wasteland.

What I would like is fricken highlights. I rarely ever see that on FS1. They are too busy showing some UFC crap every night.

He's not so much specifically anti-espn as he is pro common sense. They have gone far left with their entire agenda (Bruce Jenner, Missouri protests, Women's March, etc.) and he's called them out for it as it alienates the majority of ESPN's fan base. Which is actually a good thing for FS1. He's also been writing about the sports rights bubble and ESPN losing subscribers for over a year.

Yeah, they def need to share the wealth stateside and let a US network carry at least some meaningful games, and not just a friendly here and there. I'd like to be able to understand what the announcers and color guys are saying while I'm watching.

Doesn't matter if they don't have decent sporting events.

Just so happens today they have a great sporting event.

they also carry Championship matches

Bein is becoming more and more my ESPN. In that I mean it is the first channel I check with before browsing.

Most people don't get beIn without at least buying an extra package. For me, I'm not going to get beIn because my cable provider has placed it in the Latin package. I'm not going to pay an extra $15 just for this one channel.

Check beIn all the time. NBCSports does a great job with the Premier League and NHL, it's amazing that they do so well while the rest of their "news" channels are almost propaganda. Go figure.

I use DISH... comes with the Multi-sport package... which up until 2017 did not include NBCSN which has a majority of the EPL games everyone is in here clamoring over

I think Bein is an excellent channel

to each his own

It's all interesting. I am on the anti-ESPN wave for the most part. But I can't say for certain as I avoid anything that even smacks of "hot takes." I watch ESPN when the game starts, and I turn it off, after. I have to admit, they have decent college lacrosse coverage.

beIn IS excellent, and it's hard to believe it's al-Jazeera's sports channel. But Phil Schoen, since his early ESPN days, has become one of the best football(soccer) play-by-play guys. He doesn't over-talk the game, anymore, and he knows what and who he's talking about.

Kay Murray and Terri Leigh FTW. Oh, and Jeremy St. Louis, they got the best out of Fox Soccer Channel.

Pretty ridiculous that espn has to have all of these "attractions" in their lineup now. I remember when all they did was sports center. Those were the days. Now they have to have a special thing for everything like sc6 and lend their opinion on news and politics and stuff. I don't watch espn for coverage of that type of thing!!
