You people are idiots. 2nd round picks in the NBA draft are worth nothing. Dallas' pick will suck. Toronto will be competitive this season. Houston had 3 picks in the middle rounds this season and couldn't package them for anything. Now they get a young player with star potential, and you say its a bad move? The stupidity on this board kicks arse!!

Stealing Lamb and the picks is the robbery.
I don't think much of Lamb that's why I'm not on the robbery bandwagon.

No way is Harden a #1 on an elite team imo.

lol they not did not lose anytihng, they got a very good scorer in martin who is a better defender than Harden will ever dream of being, and they got a young good prosepct in lamb who looks good so far.

ot sure why some tards are trying to be GMs and get into the salary cap
why wouldn't you get into the salary issues, when this deal was made solely b/c of salary issues?

i think this deal signifies they wouldn't match a max deal

I don't think he believes that, but I'll say he thinks it's much more fair than the board is making it out to be.

In my defense, I haven't slept in a few days.
However, I wouldn't call this an even trade.

?
I'm not saying it was a bad deal for them. It was a win win for both teams.

Martin rental, Lamb and the picks are too much for Harden imo.
I really don't like how Houston handled this offseason. Not much flexibility now and no way is this roster good enough.

Like this trade for Houston. Harden is far better than Martin and Lamb right now. The Dallas pick won't be worth much and the Toronto pick will probably be in the 8-11 range, so likely not a superstar. The one thing the Rockets did not need was more solid players that need minutes. They have plenty of those right now.
I feel like OKC gave up on this year with this trade. They added some depth with this trade, but Harden was a very important player for them. Martin can score, but the rule changes last year really hurt his efficiency. It's no secret, but Martin is also terrible on D. I like Lamb a lot, but I'm not sure how much he will contribute this year.
For the people that think Houston got bent over, what do you think they honestly could have gotten for Martin, Lamb and 2 picks that won't be in the top 5?

Thunder pushed final offer to Harden to 4 years, $53M-$54M, sources tell Y! When that couldn't get deal done, Presti moved into trade mode.
My question is- What makes Harden think he is worth a max deal?
