exactly. It's easy to tell who actually watches other teams.

Martin is not a transition type of player, he's good but he's not better than harden

Yeah this was the move. They had to cut payroll to not be in luxury tax hell.

Not just a 2nd rounder.

A CHARLOTTE second rounder
AKA could be considered a very late first rounder

good deal for both

houston gets a potential superstar type

OKC gets martin on a 1-year rental and they get to see if lamb can be their 2 over that year

why are you bringing up the cap? I asked did anyone think okc got better by basically swapping harden for martin.

Martin is an expiring contract. He's been good as gone for a while. The deal is essentially Lamb, a mid first and a lottery pick (4th at highest before it's protected) for a known commodity with extremely high upside. Not exactly omg rapage lololol.

he's going to be a bench scorer, which he'll do well at. he'll dominate the ball

No one will argue Harden isn't the better player. They HAD to cut payroll and weren't going to get someone better. Its a pretty good return though. So yeah depending how Lamb is they probably aren't quite as good on the court next year.

Martin is the worst piece OKC got. He will be a downgrade from Harden, but serviceable for what they'll ask of him.

Stealing Lamb and the picks is the robbery. No way is Harden a #1 on an elite team imo.

We are seeing who won in the trade? Do you not take into consideration other intangibles when evaluating a trade? Or are you just the type to look at only the players invovled?

lamb and the picks are the deal, basically

if lamb doesn't pan out, then they'll get a late 1st and a mid 1st and a 2nd
