You are really being ignorant about this.
Michigan much like Alabama, is a National brand. I do not have problem with them doing this, it is like the northern teams taking their yearly trips south for baseball. I suppose you will complain about that also soon.
I feel bad for the ATC, EM, and such as they have to pack up entire rooms and load a semi or two for this deal.

Everyone knows the only ethical way to build your program through shady recruiting means is by handing out Chargers!

That's the most "Alabama" response in this whole thread

an Alabama fan mad at ANOTHER team for questionable recruiting tactics?
I've heard it all
let's all forget that Bama hosted practice at Dr. Phillips HS in Florida, I should add, where they coincidentally were recruiting Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Dee Hart.
LINK
Oh, Bama also made "improvements" to the field and locker rooms at the HS, which, I'm sure was just their way of trying to help out a random high school
find me the rule where it says what Harbaugh is doing is illegal. I'm waiting

Do you realize why there has only 1 team to win the national championship in the past 9 years that wasn't from a southern state? Do you know the reason? The SEC and the lower half of the ACC have a built in competitive advantage on recruits. We have more and ours are better overall. If we let them do this then more schools will and there will be much more competition on the recruiting trail. If you can't see that then I'm sorry.
Oh no, the horror. You'll have to start competing again for players. Your army of "football analysts", signing 4,000 players over a five year period, and on and on aren't enough.
Your program is as bad as anyone about, ahem, "bending" NCAA rules to suit their needs. Do you realize how hypocritical you look here?

It isn't at all. But it is against SEC rules outside of a certain number of miles.

So what he's doing this?

it's a private school, so no

saban is the kind of doing questionable things in recruiting that push the envelope a bit, so a Bama fan complaining about this is rich.
It likely won't happen, but can't blame Jim for trying.

exactly. so Bama/SEC fans either need to change their rules, or STFU

Does Michigan run on Semesters, Quarters, or Trimesters? I am not a fan of some people that used to work at Michigan just because of the Michigan attitude.

Who's currently #1 in recruiting?

I think it's great these kids are getting to explore places far away from home, especially at fantastic universities.
I have told my daughter plenty of times that I don't care where she goes to college so long as it's far away from home. See a different part of the country. Expand your horizons.

that seems to go against the idea of traveling to new places when you're bringing the university of michigan down to florida.

I meant when they do attend college.

no idea, although I'm not sure what you're implying. the OP was bit***** about Harbaugh doing something unconventional, which is what I was responding to

not even remotely similar, they take trips to the south, because it's 20 fricking degrees in their towns.

It's a stupid rule that won't be in place next year.
