Lets bring baseball into this.

Mike Trout is a freak of nature. Fast, big, strong, incredible hand-eye coordination, etc.

I could see them both succeeding pretty quickly.

Patrick Peterson taught himself how to play golf in his basement in a year and is now a scratch golfer.
Are you fricking kidding me?

Nope

There was an article last preseason with quotes from his coach saying he could play any position on the field in football, including kicker and QB. Then he went on to say PP bought one of those fake driving ranges for his basement and now whoops his arse on the golf course after a year.

I think it would be easier for Lebron to become a football star than for Megatron to become a basketball star. But yes, both are freaks.

Drew can dunk? You've gotta be shitting me. I knew he was a beast at tennis but never he could dunk.

I agree with Chris Paul. Baseball(I'm assuming), and football(if he doesn't get killed; maybe a situational player) along with basketball.

Goal post is 10 ft and he does that off of grass in cleats.

He can SLAM it on a basketball court.

Old espn article about his fitness regimen

Like I said, I'm not trying to say that he can take LeBron or anything, but the guy is a machine.

Idk, it would depend on how fast LeBron picked up whatever system he's in. Football's a lot harder to just pick up and play at an NFL level than basketball is in general. Far less room for creativity, you know?

It'd be interesting to watch, though.

Are there any 2 sport stars these days that are great in both?

I think youth, high school, and college sports are too dedicated to share time with multiple sports these days for another Bo Jackson to happen.

Nah man, basketball would be much harder for Calvin to pick up than football for Lebron.

Lebron could learn 2 routes at WR/TE and be dominant. Calvin would be another 6'6" guy that can jump really high in the NBA. Those are a dime a dozen.

Only guy I can think of currently is the South Carolina guy who plays PG for the hoops team and multiple football positions.

Ellington, I think?

I think football is easier to pick up for great athletes. It doesn't really require much if you have freak size and speed. Catch the ball and run. Jimmy Graham went from basketball player to Top 2 TE in a couple years. I don't know if someone could transition to basketball that way.
