Exactly. They don't get paid millions for playing in sunshine.

if it was your team and you knew it will be a competitive disadvantage for you even if you win i bet you'd be annoyed.

If you get paid millions of dollars to do one thing (play football) and you can't do it in 40 degree weather that is wet and windy, then that's on you as a professional football player. And this is coming from a Saints fan.

If you're GB and bitching then build a dome, if you're SF and bitching then win home field

lol it's not about "getting it done", it's about the effects on the body afterwards if it really does get down to like minus 30 or lower. It's not about toughness at that point

It's about a paycheck. It's that simple. You want to get paid? You play when they tell you to.

And i'm not even really complaining per se. Cold weather games are fine, sub zero games are fine. We didn't win our division, fine. But there shouldn't be any debate that when it gets to this point

you've crossed from just normal disadvantage to conditions that are dangerous for players of both teams and a serious competitive disadvantage for the winner next week in Carolina/Seattle. I mean you're just not going to be able to fully recover and get totally ready for the next game. These are human beings we're talking about, not machines.

I know it's not your team so you don't care and you want to see someone freeze to death but you can't say with a straight face that it's fair to either team.

Not saying you're wrong about this, but I'm genuinely curious... Are there any studies done or anything that show it takes longer than a week to fully recover from being in cold temperatures?

Exactly. Anyone crying about this truly is a little bitch.

the only thing I'm crying about is Roger Goodell. If he's truly concerned with player safety, he would move the game to Sunday at Noon. but no all he cares about is money…frick that pussy

Okay so your saying thats dangerous and this isnt? So you want to see these players go out and suffer from cold related illnesses?

how will this be "epic" when there will be no snow? just because it's negative temperatures doesn't automatically mean snow.

i bet nobody in this thread has experienced anything below 20, much less below -20. there aren't enough layers in the world to keep fans warm.

you sound like a moron in this thread.

I would compare 95 to 105 degree summer heat to playing football in about 25 degrees….we're talking about a SEVENTY FIVE DEGREE temperature difference

potentially -50 wind chill
