None of the above. Would rather a superstar at the beginning of his career like Neymar for example.

I think retirement plays a factor in the answer.

i say jordan for the more money and basically being a god, post career. he can play golf and live how he is every day until he dies and never run out of money. he can literally do whatever he wants for the rest of his life and he won't run out of money ever because he still makes millions a year off of jumpman.

Jeter is entering that category as well, but will never have the post career marketability.

Brady, Messi, and Ronaldo still have some years left to get to that point.

I love the old MJ line he said, something along the lines of, "You'd love to be me for 6 days or even 6 weeks, but not for 6 months."

For the OP, I'd go Ronaldo or Jeter.

not ronaldo. he may have hit the genetic lottery, but he isn't the best player in his sport, and it haunts him. his own son prefers messi. i think it kills him and he lives in mental hell.

i'm going with jeter

I don't recall Jeter ever being the best at his position, let alone in the entire games, so who cares that Messi is out there?

Not Ronaldo because he's not the best at his sport, but you chose the guy who is by far and away the worst individual athlete on the list?

Now probably MJ or Ronaldo/Messi

This pre affair. I would never have gotten married. I'd have been Derek Jeter. He banged a list sluts and celebs for a decade and nobody said a damned thing. Could have been exactly the same for Tiger.

Now I would go with Brady. Provided he retires with no significant injuries.

clearly jeter wasn't the best in his sport. messi and ronaldo are far and away 1/2, and messi is universally regarded as the better player. it bothers ronaldo.

Although I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't trade my life for Jordan's, given the above options, I wouldn't choose to be a 6'6 black guy, especially a 50 year old one.

Maybe not a superstar in some of your minds (yet) but Dustin Johnson has it going pretty terrific right now..

I agree. I was going to mention Dustin Johnson too. He makes a few million a year without taking the beating that some team sport athletes do and can play his sport at the highest level for another 25 years if he wants to. Not to mention he has a smoking hot wife.

On that same note, I'd throw Jordan Spieth in there too. He's one of the faces of golf for the foreseeable future and will be one of the top 20 highest paid athletes in the world for years to come. He also could date/marry any OT 10 he wanted to.

Ronaldo is the obvious pick. Will be worth 100+ million dollars if he isn't already and despite being a confidently heterosexual guy the guy is simply a very attractive dude who literally picks and chooses among bathing suit and lingerie models.

LBJ. Family man, current best player in his sport, set for life financially, has some rings with a decent chance to earn more.

Probably Fed though, if he hadn't gotten married so early.

Lets face it, tennis players pull in the best European poon on the planet...maybe a litle more than soccer players because it's tennis and is all elitist and Rolex...And NBA players apparently get skank drama.

That's the list of all-poon per capita.

1. NBA
2. Baseball
3. Soccer
4. NFL
5. Tennis
6. Hockey
7. Golf

This is the list of Top poon...per capita

1. Tennis
2. Top Euro soccer (not just any soccer)
3. Baseball
4. NFL
5. NBA
6. Hockey
7. Golf

I mean it has to be Golf last.

The most famous athlete on the planet gets scrub diner waitresses and Jeter dates super-models...baseball > golf in poon category. Tiger had the worst groupies of all-time for such a major athlete.

Do you guys not realize how much Ronaldo is worth?
He makes almost $100M a year. He bought a frickin island for his agent. He might not have Jordan money, but he won't be far off when it's all said and done.

If Ronaldo wasn't gay, he'd be the one to go with.
I'll stick with Jeter. He can still frick whoever he wants. He's NYC royalty. And he's not a 6'6 black guy or the most popular person on the planet like the two soccer players. Still somewhat low key being Jeter, compared to the others.
Bolt doesn't count and is laughable to be on that list.

Is it better to be retired and wealthy or still playing and wealthy? Brady still runs the risk of getting brained. The active players still have obligations.

I'd say Jeter or Woods. Both can do whatever they want. Woods has the added aspect that he can play again if he chooses. Divorce or not, he's still wealthy and can go and do almost anything he wants.
