March Madness bruh.
Sidney Crosby empty netter seals a much needed Pens victory, and Crosby takes over the scoring lead in the NHL.
Road trip is over, Malkin & Hornqvist should rejoin team when they get back.
Pens go back up 2 points over the Caps with a game in hand and the tiebreaker, and pull to 2 points behind the Islanders with a game in hand on them as well. Pens-Isles play in Pitt 2nd to last game of the season too.
10 games left in the season, and as of right now, only 2 of those 10 are playoff teams (Coyotes, Sharks, Flyers x2, Hurricanes, Blue Jackets, Sens, Sabres).
Also, those OTTAWA SENATORS WTF??!!! 9-1 in Last 10, have won 6 in a row, and are just a point behind Boston now with a game in hand. I hate the Sens too but nowhere near Bruins status, GO SENS GO!

Hey Hog my son played in Nova Scotia's biggest March Break Tourney in Cole Harbour home to Sid the Kid and NatMac it was glorious posters all over the place of Sid and NatMac...just reminded me how important Sid is to Hockey (olympic Gold Youngest Stanley Cup Captain guy is amazing...

That's amazing, wish I could have grown up around hockey like that.
But I grew up in a gigantic St Louis Cardinals family, so I can't complain really.

CBJ went 3-0 on a road trip against Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary for first time in franchise history. Marko Dano has been awesome to watch develop and they just got Boone Jenner back.

Of course the Canadian media is hyping Price for the Hart. Otherwise, they'd have to give the MVP to Ovechkin again, and they really don't want to do that. He's becoming like Shaq, when every year the writers had to come up with a new excuse not to give him an MVP.
I'm fine with it. Price has been awesome. Ovie's mantle is full of MVP trophies, and barring something crazy, he will win the Rocket Richard trophy again.
Didn't see last night's game, but Trotz said that the Caps outplayed and outchanced the Jets, and he's not shying about saying otherwise. Happy with the effort, unhappy with the result. It happens. But now it's four long days off, watching everyone else gain ground.

I know right? Ever since ESPN lost the broadcast rights they've tried to bury the sport, but the Canadian media who live and die by the sport are blind to the awesomeness of Ovie so they are are out to get the Charmin King...well the playoffs will be fun to watch afterall this year...

Saw the highlights on NHL network. Caps had the worst luck of any team all season last night. If price wins any trophy SMS' head will explode. Rangers should have won by more than that last night. Preds finally starting to resemble themselves again.
