Chess before eSports.

Seriously, Chess has been trying to get into the Olympics forever.

Truth be told, neither of them belong. The Olympics is about athletic competition (or at least it should be).

They should put together an Olympics of games separately

Just imagine how pissed all those Mortal Kombat guys that knew all the moves and Fatalities that would get a small crowd around them at the arcade feel.

Trampoline is fricking insane to watch. Those are all former gymnasts who do triple and quadruple flips over and over.

That being said, Esports is okay with me. I don't think everything should be in the Olympics, and I'd be fine with or without things like darts, poker, chess, Esports, etc.

Not overly interested in any of those things, but I certainly respect anyone who is a standout in any of those fields.

Man by the time mk3 came out in arcade I could take a dollar on a Saturday night go to discovery the local arcade and hold serve all night long. I still play with an arcade style controller. I used to have to challenge myself by playing with shite characters like jax lol if I got Kabal or nightwolf or the blue bitch lol it was a wrap.. Shang Tung just wasn't fair
Y
The frick I get for that lol. Today I could have gotten something lol. I spent four years playing mortal Kombat every fricking night

Definitely. Konami makes a ludicrous amount of money off arcade games alone. Their arcades are huge in Japan, and they're in mainly big cities in the US as well. You can also still find retro arcades scattered around.

Yeah, speed walking is a brutal sport on the body.

It's easy to make fun of, but it's exhausting.
