i LOL at people who think that Jamele is there because black people love her. she's ugly as frick. Now Sage Steele on the other hand or Cari Champion. those two fill my black women needs quota.

id on't know why they like Jamele but it's not because black people love her she sucks and is butt arse ugly

I'm seeing quite a few women and black people on the list. Is the faux outrage over yet?

You'll have to ask the daytime posters once they post bond.

but when you are doing layoffs, you can't really lay off the people who are netting you the best ratings, even if they are easily replaced.

HQ, PTI, and First Take are successful in part because of the individuals involved. They are also successful because they are on ESPN in certain time slots.

The format makes ATH, and most anyone would get ratings on the 6 PM SC

Agreed. I argued in another thread that, even though I like Stephen A, I don't think he's indispensable. That's not meant to be a slam on him because he's good at what he does, but the ratings are a safety net.

The debate show format has been tweaked all sorts of different ways, but it's still the same format that the show Sportswriters on TV began 30 years ago; a moderator with some newspaper guys that debate sports.

If you have engaging personalities to stick in front of the camera at a desirable timeslot, decent ratings will be there, almost by default.

They need to get rid of that awful broad on Sunday Night Baseball. I tried watching a game early last year and could only make it through half an inning. Haven't watched since and won't.

This site thinks all black people think/say/do things in lockstep with one another.

All black people sans TBirdSpur, that is. He's an Uncle Tom.

Do Zach Lowe or Ryen Russillo re-sign their contracts last year if they knew what was going to happen? Especially Russillo, who now has a "reduced" role and will have yet another partner for his radio show.

Not sure why they didn't go after more ex-football talking heads, they got one hundred of them. Braden actually does color for games which is more useful than a lot of the football guys.
