BS....he waited until he was past the Statute of Limitations for Perjury.

Trust me I am not defending the POS

Wasn't his expected admission reported like a week ago? Old news

OH MY GOD!!!!! EVERYTHING HE STANDS FOR IS NOT REAL!!!!!! WHAT A FRAUD!!!!!!
Seriously, who cares. Steroids didn't beat the cancers he had. He is still an inspiring story.

Not everybody that beats cancer is a good person or an 'inspiration.'
But I guess it's time for Lance to sell some more bracelets...

I personally don't GAF about this. I don't really follow biking but I hear doping is quite prevalent in the sport.

Did I say he was a good person? Read carefully. I said he is an inspiring story. Millions of people deal with cancer. The guy survived three kinds of cancer. I don't care if you think he is a jerk or a toolbag. The fact is he is an inspiring story for people with terminal cancer BECAUSE HE SURVIVED.

It's probably time for you to stop being a douchebag.

I feel the same. I would wager a lot of those that will feign outrage after this confession, probably don't actually care that much either.
Lots of drama queens on the internet.

At least he has come out. I still admire him for his cancer foundation. A lot of people make mistakes and u don't see them standing up against cancer, although having cancer had a big role in that I am sure

You wouldn't have lied when everyone else around you was doping as well? You would have perjured yourself?
I didn't think so.

What a crock of shite. Rooted for 7 years for that guy every summer. And at the end of the day he's just a cheat. I'm thrilled he defeated cancer and that he has a great foundation, but to hear that broke the rules is just so damn disheartening.

He's such a great person as a cancer spokesman...wait, didn't he dump Sheryl Crow as soon as she got breast cancer???

He's about the only one left in the pro peleton who hasn't admitted.

Most people don't really care that he used that shite, or even that he lied (to an extent); it's the way the guy was acting while denying that rubs most people the wrong way.

I agree. He is like a Jekyll and Hyde. Great guy on the cancer from but a complete douche and a-hole to protect his 'image'

He's just saying what we all already knew

If everyone was doing it who had the real advantage ?
This point was brought up several times in this (and every Lance Armstrong) thread. The answer is that Lance had the advantage. There isn't just one pill that says steroids and everyone takes it. All of the evidence that has been presented suggests that Lance had the best 'doctors' and refused to let them work with other riders. So it isnt an equal playing field- nor was it equal in baseball.
With that said, I can't imagine having to make the choice about whether to take steroids or not, especially in cycling. If you want to be world class in cycling, taking stuff went with the territory- even more than in baseball. But that doesn't make everyone equal.

I honestly thought Lance was innocent.
