Well he knew he couldnt win a title with Harden as the top guy so he checked out. Makes sense but still dumb on his part.

What talent does he have other than leaping ability? He's 6'10" and isn't talented shooting the ball. He's a hall of famer so he's done pretty good I reckon considering he was blessed with athletic ability more than basketball ability.

Dude you were sucking dwight off 3 months ago talking about his elite shooting percentage inside the paint. And how he's the best playoff center blah blah blah.

But hey its hot outside so I guess having flip flops on makes sense.

To agree with Morey. Howard wanted more post-ups but he sucks at posting up. They gave him plenty of opportunities his first 2 years, and he sucked at posting up.

This season, he STILL had the most post-ups in the league, but was less effective than Zaza Pachulia. Let that sink in. Zaza was a more efficient post player.

And if that wasn't bad enough, half the time he dribbles the ball off of his foot, steps out of bounds, or travels when he posts up.

He sucks at it.

Let's take a closer look at Morey's time in Houston.

9 seasons total
3 seasons missing the playoffs
4 first round exits
1 second round exit
1 WCF appearance

Is Morey solid? Sure.
Is he overrated by Houston fans otb? Without question.

Meh any ranking you can find will have him ranked WAY up there it's hardly Rockets fans only who think he is elite.

This is going to prove to be addition by subtraction for the Rockets.

The dude inherited two aging, broken stars. Was without any stars for several years, and then procured another one without ever tanking or putting out a losing team. I feel he deserves credit for what you posted, considering the situation. Not winning a championship in that time makes him no different than what, 25 other teams and GM's?

All that said...

Is pretty accurate.

Yep, a team he fleeced so soundly that they're tied in the Conference Finals, a place Houston has been once in 19 seasons.

Yeah, they were bounced so quickly and effectively last year that I forgot it even happened.
