KenPom Defensive efficiency in the South Region. No team with a Defensive efficiency rating higher than #25 has made the Final Four.

Agreed. Not sure if I'd rather SDSU or St. John's without Obekpa. Probably the latter. Utah would be tough too.
Gonzaga is the least of my worries right now.

Yea but you'd probably be saying that if they had the 1990 UNLV rebels as a 16 seed.
I still think Nova has a very easy bracket other than UVA.

Why was this thread made after the 2nd upset in the bottom part of the bracket

2002 or 2003 when Kansas played Arizona and duke was one of the toughest stretches it can remember. I think it was '03 when redick was a freshman. No easy ride there for duke.

Most years, they are standard brackets. 2009, 2011, 2012. Onlypeople like you complained on those.
2010 is one that people call out a lot, but there was a great stat on that one, using Ken Pom pre-tournament rankings. Let me see if I can find it.
