The Dodgers have lost 15 of 34 games Kershaw has pitched this season.

It's possible, especially with him coming back on short rest after a 120+ pitch outing.

Nothings a sure thing. I'm not sure I like CK getting a short start. Mattingly will either be viewed as a genius or an imbecile after tonight.

It's stupid regardless because even if they win, you run the risk of burning your best pitcher out.

The Yankees went through every series on 3 days rest in 09. Pitchers usually pitch very well on 3 days rest in the postseason.

What's the statistic on those that threw 120+?

That's a beyond stupid blanket statement.

Broski, I see your point but I have to believe that Kershaw feels ready and wouldn't do anything to put his career in jeopardy.

I'm thinking that if he wins, it's because he had his stuff and was pumped to pitch in a big game before the home crowd. If he loses, well the Braves beat him. I don't think that he'll blame it on the short start.

They relied on their pen a lot more than the Dodgers would like to, IMO.

Dodgers are gonna want 7+ from Kersh tonight, unless it's a blowout.
