hearing the crowd reaction to "fear the chop" then the loud arse chop is still giving me goosebumps thinking about it. I love atmospheres like that.
my only experience in the Ted that would be close to that would be smoltz's 200th. close, low scoring game and the crowd was in it all night.

never gone 3 days rest, threw the most pitches of his career last game, and has thrown what, 230+ innings this year? has the potential to be good for us, but we all know our playoff luck
Yep.
If he wasnt so good though I'd lean Braves but monsters like him usually take that kind of thought and turn it upside down
Very very interesting move

mattingly going full derp
I'm sure they have him on a low pitch count. We really, really don't need one of those games where everyone is out there hacking. Gotta work counts and try to make him break down.

mattingly is just too scared of the Ted.

This is why I don't understand the move. I mean it's not like their offense has been struggling. Why not let him rest, you're probably going to score 5+ runs anyway, and if you get outscored than throw him on Wednesday. All in all I think this actually works out best for us, we're going to have to face him again regardless, may as well be on less rest

too bad Uggla isn't in to strike out after 20 pitches. at least his Ks are productive
