Hard to say. Brady is at an age where one year he will just fall off a cliff. It happened to Favre and Manning. Favre had maybe the best year of his career, and then could barely play at all the next year. Manning went from one of the best qb's in the league to the worst performance for a qb in the league his final year.

At some point the marginal value of that money starts to lose its value. He already has more money than he or a couple generations of his family could reasonably spend.

brees will be able to Bradshaw up any sponser he could want in the area.

If really wants an income, one of the networks will gladly give him a shot.

If the Saints don't improve this year, he won't be playing for them next year.

He's said as much

I would expect him to considering he will have played more.

It was surprising to me that Brady is still about 20-30 games away from playing in as many games as manning did during his career.

I don't thinks so. He'll get close barring injury but I think he comes up short.

I think something else overlooked is if brady can throw 84 TDs to 35 INT in the next 3 years, which I believe is a fair expectation barring decline or injury, he would set the TD record while throwing almost 70 less interceptions that Manning, and would probably be about 60 less interceptions than brees (assuming brees plays 3 more years throwing 10 INT a year)

Yeah. It's pretty ease to sum up in one sentence: imagine how many superbowls Manning would have had playing every single snap of his career under Belichick.

Well we know Peyton won't break Brady's career playoff TD record. I'm not really sure anyone will. He's 18 TDs clear of the next guy, some scrub named Montana.

Who cares he'll never break 5 MVPs

might actually end up with 5.... but Super Bowl MVP's. I'll say those matter more

So dumb. You can argue their career individual metrics and that's fair, but this idea Manning would have won just as many if you swapped him for Brady is a myth.

In their 10 playoff losses between 1998-2010, and the Colts gave up 24.3 ppg and only scored 13.8 ppg.

In their 5 playoff losses between 2001-2010, the Patriots gave up 28.2 ppg and scored 18.8 ppg. So for all the talk about their superior defense, Brady did substantially more in losses and got substantially less help than Manning. What about these numbers leads you to believe Manning would have found a way to win a game that Brady lost?

*I used 2010 because that was Manning's last year in Indianapolis, but his offenses were behind Brady's in playoff losses from 2011-2015 too.

You haven't watched much of what makes Brees tick then. He is a record chaser for sure.

He's a raging competitor making 20+ a year in an offense where he is the offensive coordinator essentially.

He's a god in New Orleans and has a chance to own most of the passing records in the history of the sport.

I bet he plays a few more.

That would be the most difficult one to beat, IMO.

He's in superb shape but the odds say that he will break down sooner rather than later and 84 TDs is a LOT, as is 28/yr.

Wouldn't ever count him out but the odds...
