He is not a top 5 center of all time. I loved Duncan but let's not get idiotic here.

God damn. I know you're a fricking moron but this kind of argument is an insult to all other fricking morons. Jesus.

10. Shaq
Shaq was better than Duncan and Kobe. Do people not remember how fricking ridiculous he was?

Russell played in a league of like twelve people. Also, he played on a team loaded with HoF players. Olajuwon was better than him. Much, much better. He was better than Duncan too. No idea how he's not in your top ten.

GTFO here. All of the advanced statistics favor Garnett. KG's +/- dwarves Duncan's. Garnett had a better RAPM in 10/15 years from 1998-2012. Garnett was probably the slightly better player. At best, the two are a push. The only reason KG didn't have the team success of Duncan is that he never had a coach and organization as good as what Duncan had with Popovich and the Spurs. He never had a supporting cast that came close to rivaling Duncan's until he went to the Celtics when he was in the back end of his prime and we all saw how much team success he had there.

Russell won MVP the same season Wilt average 50 points and 26 rebounds. That same season Oscar averaged a triple double.
So what can we infer about the league at the time?
