Do yall think the 2014 NBA Draft is still the best draft ever?

Not quite sure there's a franchise changer in the draft. Any chance a couple of the guys go back?

Theres no Lebron maybe, but I bet Parker, Wiggins, Embiid, Smart and a couple others have good chances of being perenial all-stars. I think Embiid could be really really special and wouldn't be surprised if he goes first.

Wiggins is a relative disappointment, draft looks deeper than anticipated otherwise though. I'm sure that depth will keep someone in school that everyone is assuming will go lotto.

It wasn't like he didn't know this would happen. He was trying to think long term about his 2nd contract and enter the league better prepared. Don't know if I agree with the logic but respect his decision.

Aren't there a few top 10 international prospects?

Elfrid should come back and he could go number 2 behind Embiid

I think there are a lot of good players but is there a Durant? Not even going to say LeBron because I don't think that's fair.

Just think about the team the 1984 draft could have put out:
PG: Stockton (HOF)
SG: Alvin Robertson (HOFer if he wasn't an idiot)
SF: MJ (HOF and GOAT)
PF: Barkley (HOF)
C: The Dream (HOF)

1996 may be the best Guard draft of all time:
Iverson, Marbury, Ray Allen, Kobe, and Nash.

There are multiple All Stars although there might not be a single future top 5 guy, but even that is hard to predict.

It's crazy to think about the different stages of these guys' careers. Obviously, high school entry affects things, but two of these guys are way out of the league, and one is a total role player. Kobe is still Kobe. Who knows what Nash is?

This definitely isn't looking like the super draft that everybody was billing it as a couple of months ago

That's a good point, LeBron, Durant, and Davis when he gets there you could see coming. Carmelo if you think he ever is/was a top 5 player. But all the other guys who got in that territory recently had flaws/questions coming in- Paul, Love, Dwight, Westbrook, Rose, Wade, George, Harden, etc. There's a very good chance that there is at least one of those type of players in this draft.

Yeah I don't think people thought Paul George would be as good as he is leaving from Fresno

I think they will have about 5-7 future all stars which is great for an NBA draft. They hype on Wiggins has def cooled, but he will still be the top pick IMO.
