Tiger fans are the most unrealistic bunch I can think of. Win every game by 30 or fire the coach! Many can't seem to remember (or weren't born) before 03. Saints fans are more loyal, more seasoned, more real. Spoken as a bigger LSU fan

I also vividly remember going to the Dome to watch the 49ers play the Saints in 2002 and the place was maybe 1/3rd full. We changed seats several times and by halftime we had 50 yard line seats right behind the 49er bench.
But yeah the dome has been packed every week since it opened

LSU fans are dumbasses. Their favorite thing to do is suggest loser LSU players for the Saints to draft or sign.

Superdome holds 73,000. The official attendance for that game was a shade under 68,000.

Grew up a Saints fan and I attended LSU. I root for LSU but it's just not the same as the Saints. The LSU fan base is more filled with dumbasses (i.e. you).

Yeah...
yeah they are. two pictures aren't going to change anyone's mind. I could provide dozens as well if I wanted to of Saintards. I've been to plenty of LSU and Saints games and there's a difference in the type of people that attend each, and the way they dress. It's not exclusive to Louisiana though. College fan bases are more white collar in nature while nfl fan bases are more blue collar. That's just the way it is. Falcons fans are trashier than UGA fans, Cowboys fans trashier than Longhorn fans, etc.

Pre-2006 the Saints struggled mightily to fill the dome. Even when LSU sucked in the 90's Tiger Stadium was still rocking.
It's a dumb argument though because in all honesty LSU fans are some of the best in college football and the Saints fans are some of the best in the NFL. Louisiana as a whole is the best football state IMO from a fan standpoint. Both fan bases have some really moronic fans and bandwagoners, but at the end of the day, the passion in the state for both of the teams is unparalleled.

that may have been tickets sold but it sure wasn't close to that in terms of butts in the seats.
