Didn't forget about Shaq. He had a 2001 game, I believe against the Kings that stacks up well to Barkleys game.

LeBron started 0-10, but finished 14-27. The fools talking about LeBron just chucking up shots are dumb. Missing your last 10 is alot different and missing your first 10.

they can't use that. Doesn't fit the "not clutch" narrative

Yup. 2001 Lakers had the greatest playoff run ever and that was about Shaqs peak IMO.

Ftr, I think LeBron will eventually go down as the GOAT.

Just pointing pointing out Barkley has the two most impressive playoff stat lines of the past 25 years.

The 44 point triple double shooting 72.7% and the 56 point game shooting 74.2% (nba record fg% in the playoffs for a 50 point game).

Also, Shaq in 2001 had a monster stat line that ranks up there.

I did, then last year happened. I thought that was the dagger. Now I'm not so sure.

So it's fair to just throw out his first 10 to make it look better?

No, it isn't "fair", but the stat needs some context.

Going 14-37 while making 1 and then missing two FGAs throughout the game is much different than going 14-27 after missing your first 10.

Look, I don't believe this is the greatest playoff stat line of all-time. I don't really think it is in the discussion, mainly because of the 0-10 start. However, you can't ignore how impressive it was in its entirety.

Why is it different when you miss your shots? Serious question

Imagine LeBron was 14-27 and then went 0-10 to finish the game. Do you think this board or the national media would be as impressed as they are right now?

Holy shite at the goalpost shift this board has taken. The narrative 100% was Lebron was a great player who couldn't finish. Now this board will take the stance the first quarter is the most important, how you finish is irrelevant

I dunno I'm not the national media or an idiot so I know that it doesn't actually matter when the shots are missed. A missed shot is a missed shot. I think Lebron played awesome after the bad start that gave us the lead, but he still shot terribly.

I'm just saying there is zero chance that Lebron just out up the best stat line in nba history when I, a fan of the opposing team, hopes he puts up the same line next game. He can feel free to get fewer rebounds and assists though

I don't follow the narrative of this board and I like Lebron but excellent effort on trying to stir shite up. Im the guy who bitches in every thread about how coaches handle foul trouble like dumb asses because it doesn't matter what point in the game you are losing minutes.
