just ensures that we're going to take full advantage of the short window we have, as financially responsible as we can. and continue to build youthful depth by stacking good drafts on top of each other. I like the signing

I am very disappointed in Jerry Jones.
I am no longer a Cowboys fan.

Personally I want nothing to do with Gordon in the draft.

I want Gurley and someone else for insurance later like TJ Yeldon or Karlos Williams

Gurley is who I want too but I really doubt he's going to be there at 27. He was going 17 to San Diego in a mock I looked at today.

Yeah but I dont know if I would trust a mock in this case. Gurley, despite how much of a beast he is, is coming off an injury plus he plays RB. I would not be surprised to see no RBs in the 1st this year.

I hope you're right. I will be pretty fricking upset if he's somehow available and Dallas passes. That's for sure.

There are some good RBs in this draft. I wouldn't mind seeing them take the kid from Boise, Abdullah, or duke Johnson in a later round. Not sure the kid from Boise will last but the projections are all over the place. Yeldon is ranked anywhere from RB 2 to RB 8. But you can get value with a later pick IMO.

All this Cowboy RB talk: is Peterson not the goal for Jones?

Surely the commission is going to resolve all this so Jones can deal for Peterson before the draft, hmmm?

Not so bold prediction

Cowboys regress from last year.

That shows just how deep this RB class is.

I forgot about Duke Johnson, Ajayi, and Abdullah. I would be happy with any of those.

Depends on the defense and how much it improves.

And injuries. But it won't be because they are strapped with stupid long term deals and retarded trades so I'm cool with it. The coaching seems to be on point and the front office seems to be on the same page.

Well, well, well. Just when I think the Dallas Cowboys are moving the right direction in the NFL I see they signed Greg Hardy. Who? Who is Greg Hardy? Well, football and non-football fans, Greg Hardy is facing a possible 6 game suspension to start the season after beating up, choking and threatening to kill an ex-girlfriend. Of course, to Jerry Jones that apparently isn't important. What IS important to Mr. Jones is that Greg Hardy can rush the passer.
The NFL pretended this past season to start cracking down on domestic violence. Ray Rice has been suspended. Other NFL players have either sought help for their violent ways or been suspended. Apparently, beating up women is "a-ok" with Mr. Jerry Jones. Well, Mr. Jones, you've lost a fan today.
Let us be honest about this. A man decides he is angry and beats up and then threatens to kill a woman. What kind of man hits a woman? What kind of man threatens a woman? What kind of man is that? The answer, of course, is he is NO man at all. He is less than a man. He is a jerk. He is a scumbag and ANY man who harms a woman is nothing but evil. Yes, evil. Period. End of Story.
So, Mr. Jones, build up your thug team. Please, by all means, continue to fool the public with your "spin" on why you signed this thug and why Josh Brent, who killed a fellow Dallas Cowboys player while driving drunk is also on your roster today.
I've given up on the Cowboys. I will not cheer for them. I will not buy their merchandise. I will not endorse anything Cowboys related. Sure, my boycotting of the Cowboys means nothing. I get that reality. However, I will not condone violence of any type towards a woman and therefore I will not condone the Cowboys for signing a thug.
Mr. Jones has a grown daughter, Would Mr. Jones tolerate a man beating up his daughter? The answer, of course, is that Mr. Jones would have charges brought against that man and make sure that man go to jail. Apparently, however, that doesn't apply to his football team. Pathetic, Mr. Jones, pathetic.
For those of you who cheer for the Cowboys? Ask yourself, "Why am I cheering for a team who condones beating up women?" If you try to rationalize your answer? Shame on you. Jerry Jones now condones beating up women. Cheering for him and putting more money into his pocket only allows him to continue his condoning of this violence.
Now, GO SAINTS!!! I will probably find one NFL team along with the New Orleans Saints (who is a team I cheered for anyway) to cheer for too, but the Dallas Cowboys? No thanks. I'm not interested in supporting a billionaire owner who thinks beating women is"a-okay" as long as that same person can rush a quarterback.
