Either that or Stephen has put Jerruh in the corner

It seems like Stephen is making decisions and listening to the football people in the building. It only took 15 years of mediocrity to make this happen.

Dianna Marie Russini ? @NBCdianna Dallas sources tell me it's a done deal. Greg Hardy will be a Cowboy.

She's a D.C. reporter so I guess take it with a grain of salt for now

The Buccaneers have lost interest in free agent defensive end Greg Hardy, so "he'll apparently be a Cowboy," reports Pro Football Talk. Hardy was visiting the Cowboys on Wednesday.

Apparently the bucs never had interest and Rosenhaus was the "source."

I don't think its really that outlandish of a statement with the addition of Hardy. Gotta see what happens in the draft though.

Lost Demarco, that will hurt a lot. Defense will be bad

Depends

Did you see who was playing D line last season? They will be much improved especially if they do well in back end defense in the draft.

They let Murray walk and they're using the money he wanted to sign one of the elite defensive ends in football. I expect the defense to be better.

They were much better than most figured las year and were ravaged by injuries. Signing Hardy, a few good fillers, & draft talent should absolutely make them better this year.

Cowboys signed DE Greg Hardy, formerly of the Panthers, to a one-year, $11.3 million contract.

The Cowboys finished 28th in the league with their 28 sacks last season, and Hardy recorded 27 sacks from 2012-2013 before sitting out all but one game last season while on the Commissioner's Exempt List. He'll be a "closer" for the Cowboys, who got pressure on quarterbacks last season but couldn't finish the job. Expect Hardy to slide in at right end, with Demarcus Lawrence, Jeremy Mincey, and Tyrone Crawford rotating at the other spot. Hardy is a three-down player, though he may be looking at a short suspension to start the season.

Only a one year contract is a bit of a buzzkill. I was hoping they would roll the dice and lock him up with a 3 or 4 year deal.

Maybe, maybe not. That is impossible to predict.

They can franchise him next year if he balls out. If he does dumb shite or gets hurt they are off the hook.
