Lot of money for a lot of years for a 30 year old that plays once a week, but it ain't my money so I'm good with it as long as the sox win.

I mean i'm sure it'll have some effect, but grinke is older, and boston said they'd beat any offer by 30 or 40 million for price

The last two off seasons since our title have been down right dog shite. This is at least a promising start

$31,000,000 a year for a guy who plays one out of five games during his age 30-37 seasons. LOLasfrick. Pitcher contracts are out of control.

Is he though? It's 1 million more per year than scherzer, and grinke already had (and exercised an opt out)

I don't find cost at all surprising.
