Going against Aaron Brooks, who got roughed up against Seattle last Friday (6 ER on 2.1 IP). Jabroni just needs to keep doing what he's doing and out bats needs to quit being terrible. Altuve has settled down a little bit after his recent hot streak, need some others to step up.

Looking ahead, it looks like we will miss Hamels during our 4 game series in Arlington next week and we will have our 4 best pitchers throwing (Kazmir, McHugh, McCullers, Keuchel)

Bad bad bad game last night boys, but it's a new day. Fresh new beginning. Let's put this behind us, and beat the A's tonight. All you gotta do is put it one game at a time, and keep winning.

Astros cannot continue to lose to these kind of teams and hope to make the postseason. You have to beat the bad teams when you are supposed to. That is what is so frustrating.

Same thing I noticed. Hamels is scheduled to throw on Sunday. Dallas is scheduled to pitch in both of the Angels & Rangers series, so at least we have that going for us.

What's so weird about the AL West is that Oakland (Worst team in AL) is the only other team in the division with a positive run differential on the season besides the Astros.

None a single bit of this season makes sense.

They are better than their record offensively. Their bullpen is just trash.

Something about backpedaling into the playoffs bothers me. IMO there are two types of teams that win the World Series. They have the Dominating teams all season(Cardinals, miami). Then they have the teams that are consistent all year, get healthy and hot(royals last year/sf last year). We MIGHT can fall into the last category if we can heat up before they playoffs. We are 99% healthy now. We need to get hot. We should get hot.

I would be happy to backpedal into the playoffs at this point.

Playoffs are far from a certainty. We need to sweep somebody in the worst way
