I'm honestly good with the bullpen. I think it's fine.

Get a bat and a starter.

Hate that it's been so quiet

I think once the Hamels thing is settled (and we don't get him), we'll do something significant with the Padres.

I'm not sure Tyson Ross is much of an upgrade from McHugh. Ultimately you need four starters for the playoffs, I think we have three that we are pretty set on.

Disagree. His BB rate is high but this is his 3rd year in a row pitching well. McHugh's K rate is way down from last year and could very well be a one hit wonder. Either way, Ross is better than Feldman.

With Ross being under team control for this year + 2 more, I'm surprised Hamels will bring a bigger haul than him.

Jim Salisbury? With CSN Philadelphia says he expects Hamels next start with the Rangers. Says they are one of the teams Hamels can't block a trade and they have reportedly made a very strong offer with bigtime hitting prospects.

This guy is on High Heat right now saying the same things. But why is no one asking guys like him, "Why do you think/believe/know Hamels will not waive his no-trade for Houston?"

Other media members just let it slide. Ask him why. Tell us why.

I understand he didn't look great last night, but he is 12-5 this year.

Know what Houston Keuchel's record is this year?

12-5

If Hamels is really showing any doubt about playing for a young, energetic, up and coming team with a chance to win now, why the frick do we want him? Go hard after Ross.

Exactly. But is this just posturing for his 2019 option to be picked up? Does he want to re-negotiate his deal for more money/perks? It could be just business, but the reporters "in the know" aren't really telling us anything.

Is there any free parking around minute maid? Only been a handful of times, and I believe we parked in the lots on the home plate side. 15/20 bucks I believe. Did notice some people parking along some streets a bit from the park. I'm in the CBoxes, best place to park, and will pay, just wondering if any pay places next to Union Station. TIA.

Exactly how I feel, you don't want a guy who doesn't want to be here, plain and simple.

Not too hard to come up with reasons why someone might not want to come here, the rebuild has been very unconventional and has rubbed some people the wrong way. We haven't yet proven we were going to be a high payroll team just yet even though signs point towards us being in the mix.
