Let's pump the brakes on altuve. Judge has proven himself emphatically.you don't see him making 3 baserunning blunders a week.

That said. I love the scorpion and he's already in the HOF in my books.

After yesterdays assault Bregman now has a higher batting average, OBP, wRC+ wOBA, higher walk % and decreased K% compared to last year when after a small sample size we were ready to crown him.

If Fisher performs well in left then we have our starting 8 position players settled until 2020.

Fulmer is likely going to be top 10 in the CY voting for the second year, only 24, and under team control until 2023.

But Think of what judge would have done last year

He has been pre-selected for MVP whether he continues down his current path or not. No way he loses it with the way he is adored by the media at this point.

I mean Judge has had a hell of a season. If season ended right now, I don't think it would be unfair at all to name him MVP


But Altuve is playing like an absolute freak this month. Obviously it's not sustainable, but if he's able to continue playing well and not crash like he did last September, I think he's got a very good chance
