How much you wanna bet Jabroni, Fausto and Dallas wind up with better BA's than Carter after this series?

Jabroni vs Shields tonight

We'll see which philosophy will prevail: building a program the Luhnow way vs. The Yankee Way.

Some stats for you...

Astros are 11-7, in sole possession of 1st place by 2.5 games. They have a 4 game lead in the division over all teams not named the Angels.
The Astros are 7-2 on the road this year.
The Astros are 8-2 in their last 10 games.
The Astros are 10-5 vs AL West competition.
Jake Marisnick leads the team in BA with a .364 average.

Go Stros

Have been to Petco before, nice ballpark, good food. Jabroni gonna outduel Shields tonight. Also saw that Hinch wants to get Gattis a start in LF this series

I heard the ballpark food at Petco is about as good as it gets in MLB.

I don't know if Petco is the best park to give Gattis his first start in LF this season.

Time to stretch our lead of the division even more. Let's go Stros!

Me and a buddy did this about 25 years ago when we were 18. Caught all the California parks within a 2 week period. I think the highlight was freezing our asses off in the old Candlestick in June.

That's just crazy talk!!

Want more?
When did Astros get their 11th win in 2014 season? May 8th, with a record of 11-24

By the time they had won their 11th, they were already 9 games back from first place.

Through 18 games:
2014 - Astros were shutout twice and shutout the opposition zero.
2015 - Astros have been shut out twice and shutout opposition twice.

2014 - Astros scored 51 runs.
2015 - Astros scored 70 runs.

2014 - Astros allowed 89 runs
2015 - Astros allowed 64 runs.

2014 - Astros were 0 - 3 in one run games.
2015 - Astros are 3 - 1 in one run games.

Pitching has been legit! It is so nice having a bullpen again.

If I had to guess, it will happen during groundball Dallas' start.

Dude is fricking legit. He is on an absolute tear right now. I was hoping he could hit like 250ish to justify keeping his glove in the lineup every day but he looks capable of a lot more than that now. I'm sure he will struggle at times but if he can hit 280-290 then wow. Huge win on the Cosart trade

He has had an incredible start. My expectation coming into this season was .250 average and it looks like he could blow that out of the water. Also has gold glove potential

I am of the opinion that that diving swat yesterday by Springer that went right to Marisnick was planned out.

Am I wrong?

I think they should be selling Marisnick and Preston Tucker Fresno jerseys.
