That's a tad less predictable than Jeff Luhnow.

A few thoughts :

I really hope we don't regret the Phillips for Gomez swap.

This Postseason will motivate Altuve to work harder than ever this offseason, I imagine he will tear it up the next time he reaches the playoffs.

When we traded for Kazmir and it looked like he was going to be our number 2, Collin was going through a little rough patch and I argued McHugh was better than any other playoff teams number three. I feel pretty good about that in retrospect, lol.

Man it was a exciting year and was a lot of fun to play some meaningful baseball in October again.

1B, C, bullpen (obviously), and maybe a 3B. Gattis is probably back next year, but I was very discouraged by his play at the end of the year.

First thing is first get a high velo guy in the bullpen right away. Whether that be an in house guy or free agent. I honestly think that was the biggest mistake at the trade deadline and in the second half. Not acquiring anyone or not getting Velasquez and Feliz high pressure innings

Have you guys even looked at the full-season numbers for guys like Harris, Neshek, and Fields? All three were above average. If you think the bullpen will get a complete overhaul, prepare to be surprised.

may as well have gone back to Venezuela early. Hell Villar probably could have mustered a hit in 19 at bats.

No one knows what they "will" do though. Hell no one expected them to go this far this year, they were still picked by most "experts" to be a bottom tier club. I could see them signing Kazmir for a decent price and Making a push either by trade or signing a younger OF.

Now could I say who? No but I could see it happening because they are closer than many thought.

we all saw how the league caught onto him from 14' to this year. Im curious to see how he adjusts in 2016.

Yeah, we sure did see that.

Like they said, he doesn't win 19 games by accident.

No one said overhaul. But there will be more competition from the minors plus you can be almost certain that two veteran end-of-game arms (including a closer) with high velocity will be acquired.

Love this team!! Add a few pieces to the puzzle we are looking a 100 win team. Another solid starter and a few table setters and we will do great things

You should tweet that to Luhnow. After all, you're laughing at him.

You think they are going to go out and pay for a power pitcher with Appel and Velasquez waiting in the wings?

If I had to guess, he will get a team-friendly offer for 3 years max. I doubt what the Astros offer him will be as good as what he'll get on the market. If someone offers him over 3 years at a decent rate, he pretty much has to take it.

he's a decent SP3/SP4, but wins for the most part are meaningless. He was close to the top of MLB in run support.

id rather his ERA be 2.89 with 12 wins then 3.89 with 19 wins. Just tells you more about the pitcher that he actually is, without the offensive run support variables.

As long as gomez is gone I'll be happy. Don't care if we lose 100

I love the thought of trading Carter and giving White a shot. Trade Singleton as well. Let Marwin play 1B and platoon with the rookie.

I fully expect Reed to be up next year as well and platoon with Gattis and eventually take AB's away from him as the year goes on.

Also, Houston will be more attractive to FA's this offseason as well. Instead of bitches like Vogelsong crying about the way things are handled.

Hell of a year that came out of nowhere - not a damn thing to hang heads over for taking the defending AL champs to game 5 of the DS. More young talent on the way. 2016 is going to be great.
