Let’s just call him Mark Appel Jr. and chalk it up to a sunk cost. Guy is a bust.
I mean the good news is that he’s not a first overall pick. The bad news is we’ve held on too long it seems.

If Framber can come back at some point rotation could be pretty damn good if healthy

Dang didn’t see that coming. Could be a blessing in disguise. Odorizzi is going to bring more value than whatever reliever we would have picked up at the deadline. Framber and Javier in the bullpen could work out nicely come playoff time.

Gotta say if Odorizzi pitches like 2019 this is a pretty damn good staff

I’m not sure what all the bs surrounding Framber’s pinky is, but it is definitely bs
Maybe Click needed the uncertainty to get the deal done w Odorizzi
He pitched an inning after the comebacker jammed it. They could Ronnie Lott that finger if they had to
Framber will be the best deadline deal the Astros could get, and I can’t imagine he’s not back before then

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Whitley’s odds of contributing to the Astros are the same whether he has Tommy John or Trans Gender surgery

You see what happens kids? One little pill of Adderall on a warm summer night can ruin your life permanently.

With that said, I’m gonna go outside, pick up a baseball, and see just how damn hard I can throw it. Over, and over, and over for no damned reason.

Right UCL sprain for Whitley, hence the Tommy John recommendation. We won’t ever see this guy pitch in a regular-season game for the Astros.

I feel legitimately bad for the dude, he can’t catch a break since 2017

Yep. That last interview he did where he tried so hard to sound smart just proved he's an idiot.

Whitley had arm soreness last year and ultimately got shut down. Guessing this was known last year and he decided to put off surgery because Whitley knows best.

Garcia and Abreu time is near. Let's hope they're ready.

Kent Emanuel looks pretty good today against Cardinals regulars.

Nice inning from Pressly too. Struck out all three batters he faced
Pedro Leon robbed of a single on a nice sliding play by the CF’r. First time watching him take an at bat, tough matchup against a big time prospect. Spit on good breaking ball low, and got a little barrel on a fastball up and hit it pretty well to right center.

Pedro Leon really is a short and stocky fella.

I don’t know what I thought he was going to look like, but it wasn’t that
