Do any of y’all actually have this?

The price is absolutely outrageous. A basic yearly subscription is $140.

I would love to read their tournament analysis, but not paying that or the $15 monthly fee.

Maybe I am just being cheap??

$15 on the surface doesn't seem bad but when you probably already pay $100-$200 a month for other shite...

Kendall should have given us all free subscriptions for life after that streaming debacle.

No that’s bonkers, wouldn’t be worth it even if they live streamed every game.

For reference Espn+ is $100, and I personally value a streaming service carrying majority of sec games much more than some money ball type stat hub that I’d imagine ppl are probably mainly using for betting.

Pay $15 for the month of June and cancel in July.

Yeah, another reason I wouldn’t pay for it is that I really only care about LSU and to a lesser degree the SEC. The content is probably too broad. I really don’t care about what most of the 300 teams are up to.

I don't but they are the best at covering college baseball year round out there

Baseball America is the only other one and they aren't even close because the majority of their focus is on minor leagues

$15 seems silly so that I can simply read their Baton Rouge regional analysis.

Kendall Rogers is probably milking this too hard along with his early season tournament broadcast. I wonder if they could make more money through ads and keeping the content free.

He provides a service for a fee. If you're not willing to pay the fee, you won't receive the service.

But if you want free Baton Rouge regional analyses, check out Chris Demouy - 60 ft 6 in LSU YouTube.

Or Hunt Palmer.

Or Mik'd Up w/ Mikie Mahtook.

I'm still waiting to see if he'll keep his promise to everyone to buy them a beer for that collosal mess up.

I wouldn't hold my breath though.

The value isn’t there.

But the business model for D1 can only be to milk the diehard college baseball fan that would pay almost anything for content.

Used to be the best site for live scores as well. Still is for the most part, but their live scores are usually 1-3 innings behind. I hope this off-season they work with the company providing live stats (StatBroadcast®/Radiak Group LLC) to provide more accurate live scores.

Scenario: See on D1Baseball that two teams of interest are tied in the 8th inning, this should be a good time to tune in. Nope. Game actually ended 10 minutes ago.

Warrennolan.com is the best for live scores. Doesn’t have in-game stats though.

It's not worth it. I had it last year.

A lot of the shite behind their paywall is column-based stuff. They are knowledgable about the sport, sure, but for the most part you're paying to read about them smelling their own shite.

They are decent but not $140 decent. Especially after that tournament coverage debacle earlier this year.

What you are looking for and what would be a better bang for your buck is sec extra annual subscription or monthly sub on d1. Its $70 per year or $6 a month. Its more sec centric.

It is probably one of their best ideas yet

What I find odd is D1 charges for the mobile app just to look at a scoreboard.

Those writers are legit and great at what they do but the price tag is not worth the coverage.

I bought a year long before the season this year.

After I bought my subscription, they rolled out the SEC extra portion. Articles started popping up on the page from the SEC side and even though I paid like $150 upfront for the site-wide subscription , I couldn’t read it.

While they were perfectly nice about it, I was baffled that they did not have a solution to try and keep me as a customer. Kendall said “we can give you a little money back”, whatever that meant. I said no thanks, please cancel. Zero fight or attempt at a resolution
