Those Karr forfeits are really going to throw a wrench into the playoff seeding.

They'd better hope Zachary and Destrehan are both on the other side of the bracket.

Destrehan is wrecking shite even though most of the teams are not very good, hence the bad ranking.

Regular seaon game of the year candidate and it's on a Saturday, same time as LSU - Ole Miss.

I know that was set months ago... but dang.

Also if the playoffs started this week... Chalmette would have to travel to Airline...

Could be worse, Airline could have to drive to Chalmette.

Primarily they moved “open enrollment” public schools to select.

Think a school like Woodlawn, that has kids all over EBR not in their traditional “district” attending.

From what I understand, some parishes have open enrollment public schools based on specialized curricula and programs. Like if I lived in district X but the school in district Y had a strong STEM program, I could potentially enroll in district Y school.

I think the rationale is that could open some schools up to recruiting in the name of “academics,” but in name only.

Why is there so much love for a team that has never won anything in the history of it’s program on this board?

#13 St. Thomas More at #6 Teurlings Catholic

Talk about a game that has snuck under the radar.

When was the last time Teurlings Catholic was 7-0!?

- wins against Westgate and LCA. I mean thats an impressive resume so far. Did they magically get athletes or is that QB Preston Welch that good?

He is very good! Last season they were mostly sophomores and juniors. Kantrell Prejean is the real deal as well. Plus a lot of kids with experience from last season.
