Well, he is right on one. MKG is an enormous disappointment, I have never seen such a shitty jump shot in my life.

He has the athleticism to be great, but his fundamentals are awful!

The king, MJ, Tom Brady, Drew Brees.

I have to side with Coward on this one.

Agree.

Going forward Davis will no doubt be part of the decision making process on the coaching staff, FAs, etc. so being able to blame others for the teams failures is something that won't carry much weight going forward not that it does now.

when your 3rd-7th most minutes on your team are made up of 4 career backups (Moore, Cunningham, Hill, and Jones) and a rookie...you're gonna struggle.

But what if he isn't the GM of say, Lebron?

Not everyone can lead teams the championships AND build them.

Davis may have had a good bit of input in the ajjnca and asik contracts. Wasn't he due for his last extension around the same time or no? Maybe he told dell to sign those guys so he wouldn't have to bang as much. Dell didn't have much of a choice. Gotta make it happen to keep AD happy. hmmmm....

more than half of the teams in the west this year are fricking terrible. The Pelicans should be good enough to make the playoffs if Anthony Davis is truly a top 5 player. That is just the reality of it.

Oh God. Cowherd goes on about that like Wall pulled his dick out of his pants and waved it at a bunch of little old ladies and kindergartners. Forgive me for not getting worked up about a 19-year-old guy making his first start in the NBA doing a goofy dance during his intro. Wall has been a solid pro and a good citizen.

Since Holiday has been back, even including the games he missed in the middle, the pelicans have posted 21-24 (0.467). They'd be 27-30 which is what the 8th seed would be right now.

They can still make it, even though long term I would prefer to get a top 3 pick.

With the impact that the top end players of today have on their organisations decision making processes a player's ability to build a team is gonna impact their ability to win games. They are intertwined.

Harden had tons of input on the coach D hire. Gordon and Anderson signings. Etc. if those dont work out he has to take some of the blame.

"Harden, do you want a coach that gets the ball in your hand 90% of the time and doesn't require you to play a lick of defense?"

"yeah."

What if the elite player plays a position that doesn't control the ball?

Or, Kentucky players are always top draft picks, so they go to shitty teams that usually don't make the playoffs.

His MO is to pick an arbitrary stat, in this case playoff wins, completely dismisses every other contributing factor, and then state his completely bullshite, unsupported by any logic opinion as fact.

(And I say this hating Kentucky as much as the next guy).
