He's a lot more talented than Danny White, but I'm not sure why this is an insult. White had a very nice NFL career.

What would Jacksonville do with Paul Posluzny? Isn't he a FA?

That guy when healthy is a beast but last 2 years has been hurt.

Until Romo wins a Super Bowl I think it is a very fair comparison.

I guess going to 3 straight NFCCG is bad?

Too bad none of them were at home.

What percentage of starting QBs wins SBs? Even among guys who start for 5+ years, the percentage is pretty low.

To make SBs the end all be all of comparison of QBs is just stupid. Dan Marino was an amazing QB who lost a lot of games with a shitty running game, bad defenses and average receivers.

White may have been better athlete. White IMO is 5th best in team history.

1 is no doubt
2-3 are Romo Aikman (depends what day it is)
4 Dandy Don
5 Danny
6 Morton

Even Aikman says Romo is better than he was. Aikman gets more credit than he probably should, he was by far the least talented of the "Big three" and spent a good five years behind maybe the best offensive line ever. And he really only played well in one of those three Superbowls. Aikman used to go entire quarters where he did nothing but turn and had the ball off to Emmitt.

Roger was clearly the best. If he got to play with today's rules he would dominate.

So Danny White made three straight NFC championship game appearances.

Tony Romo has never made it to the NFC championship. Hell his playoff record is 2-4 with two wildcard wins.

With a franchise like Dallas I think playing in or winning championships are more important than a quarterback putting up nice regular season stats and loses early in the playoffs every year.

1. Roger
2. Aikman
3. White
4. Romo

Just seeing Troy throw it and hear it when thrown was amazing. I think Troy was handcuffed by Norv at times and then Gailey started to unleash him but Emmit started to whine.

I'm not a big Emmitt fan

Would be sick. So would Marino, actually.

Danny White played on some REALLY talented teams. The 1983 team was I think the best offense ever at the time, first team to average 30 PPG IIRC. He also had a top 10 defense four times in six years as a starter. He had Pearson, Dorsett, Randy White, Ed Jones, Everson Walls, Jim Jeffcoat, Harvey Martin, Pat Donovan etc. That is a whose who of HOF/all-decade players.

Romo has rarely had even an average defense, never really had a running game prior to this season and his offensive line was a joke from 2009 to 2013.

White simply played on better teams. The one team Romo played on that was legitimately stacked was the 2007 squad, and that was his first full year as a starter when he still played like a gunslinger. Put THIS Romo on that team, he at least makes it to the SB.

We need a Safety to replace Church.
We need another CB. Sterling Moore is not the answer at #2.
Big-time DE/DT.

Personally I just want us to draft all defense this year. We need depth at every position.

I want at least 5 defensive picks. I'm with taking a QB in the 2nd/3rd and maybe a project tackle. I'm confident at receiver, and I'm assuming we will have one of Murray or AD at RB.

Why do I still hope Mo is that guy? Wishful thinking?

Love Mo at LSU, but he doesn't have the mindset to make it in the NFL. Whenever he gets beat, he gets down on himself and can't recover.

He'll get his chance, he has one more year left on his rookie deal and we aren't cutting him.

Kind of like how Finks is revered but no playoff wins

I never said he was Bobby B or Polian. But he is not god awful like people claim.
