Not trying to troll but you realize within all likely hood, Saint fans will be doing the same in 13 years right? Super Bowls can be few and far between (I'm assuming you are a saints fan)

Feel free to point that out in 13 years.

Well, the Saints will definitely be in that class before long. Only way they won't is if Mickie Mouse Loomis dies.

Aints suck, and will never win another Super Bowl. That rat nest got it's one shinning moment. Now it's done.

Well I'm a Cowboys fan and this entire topic is dumb. Romo is going nowhere.

Half of the shite on here is people just spouting off their opinions and nonsense like they were a NFL GM at some point in their life.

Somewhat like the idiots that are living off a fluke one from 7 years ago?

I mean seriously 7 years ago is a REALLY REALLY long time to be acting like you just won it.

Efficiency is not the same as monster numbers. Dak is 4th in completion percentage (Better than all the big names except Matt Ryan) and 8th in passer rating. He's 7th in yards/attempt (since this board seems to like that metric) and is one of 3 QBs to have not thrown an interception.
I didn't say he put up monster numbers. And once again, Dak isn't putting up monster numbers either. In 2014 Romo was 1st in completion percentage, 1st in passer rating, and 1st in yards/attempt.

But please, do continue to use stats to hype up Romo. Especially the ones that Dak matches up quite well against.
Do you, honestly, think that Dak is a better QB and gives you a better chance of winning than a healthy Romo?

There are people who actually believe this, yes and it's only people who think Romo is a bad quarterback.

I'm jubilated that Dak is doing what he is, but this is Romo's team, whether any of you like it or not.

Well, considering the sample size we have for Romo, and the 2-4 playoff record, ih, yeah, I'd be willing to give Dak the benefit of the doubt and see what he does.

What I fail to understand is people that are looking at the same set of data on Romo and think he can do anything more than what he has done. He's old and banged up.

The problem here is you are working on the fallacy that Romo will ever be healthy again. The guy played one freakin drive in the preseason and got hurt! I don't have faith that he will be healthy again

Don't tell me he is going to be the Romo of old.

No, you ride the hot hand. If the Cowboys are winning with Dak, you don't change a thing. If things go south, and Romo is there, you put him back in. But until that point, I don't have faith that the Cowboys can go any further with Romo than they have in the past.

Now, don't misconstrue this as me thinking Dak can. That is not what I'm saying. We don't know what Dak can do, and that is the point.

False. I like Romo, and he has been a good quarterback, but it's time to see if someone else can lead this team further. Romo hasn't. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. 10 YEARS!!

You can be a good QB and not have success in the playoffs. Manning did it for years. Difference is, he got over that hump. I don't think Romo will.

27 years ago yesterday they gave up more than that for a great RB who should be in the HOF.

Well he also has never had a dominate defense and hardly even any mediocre ones. The offensive line wasn't solid until we drafted Frederick in 2013 and in that year and all the ones before we struggled to run the ball.

I mean I can't sit here and deny that Romo has choked numerous times in that span, but I attribute it more to those things I already mentioned. We left a lot on the table for drafting poorly.

Two wins is also a tad skewed. Dez fricking caught that ball

NO. this is a ignorant question. they'd be lucky to get a 5th round pick.

Also, who cares enough to put enough thought into even answering the question. The Cowboy fans are all high and mighty right now, but will soon come back down to earth. As they always do.

Off topic but it will be really interesting to see what the Bikings do if Bradford remains legit all season.

You would assume they trade Bradford but how much more than the 1st they gave up do you expect to get?
Or do you roll with him and trade Teddy? Same question would remain though

No, he needs to come back to stink it up again so the team misses any shot of the playoffs, while demoralizing the team and make Jerry Jones look like the biased puss that he is to the team. The best at being dysfunctional. Have to love the Cowboys of the last 15 or so years. What a great run for the rest of the NFL.

keep both one more season.

insurance.

Teddy's deal is probably over after next season.

If Bradford gets to the Super Bowl, they won't mind paying two good QBs.

iAM a cowboy fan and moving romo is the only move that makes real sense. the team as it is now doesn't have the defense to make a legit play off run. Elliot is about a year away from really hitting his stride and Romo at his best, is going to shite the bed in the NFC Wild Card Game.

Right now his value as at his highest. he hasn't played all year so people forget he shits the bed. He's a really good QB.

The tea he really needs to go to is the Browns. The browns, might very well have the best WR core in the NFL, with no QB to give them the ball. Romo will also bring that team some half arse resembelance of leadership. That's a very winnable division with a QB. Maybe not this year, but next year.

I think they COULD, just not this year. If there were any teams that were just a QB away from having a Super Bowl squad, then sure. Maybe Denver if they struggled more than they have so far this year with Semien?
