Efficiency is not the same as monster numbers. Dak is 4th in completion percentage (Better than all the big names except Matt Ryan) and 8th in passer rating. He's 7th in yards/attempt (since this board seems to like that metric) and is one of 3 QBs to have not thrown an interception.

But please, do continue to use stats to hype up Romo. Especially the ones that Dak matches up quite well against.

I'm just curious: when Romo comes back and collapses in the playoffs again, or gets hurt again, what will the Romo-lovers have to say?

And last time Romo played a full season, he did the following:

Completion % = 69.9% > 69%
Yds/Att = 8.53 > 7.99

Passer Rating 113.2 > 101.5

He had a 126 passer rating in the playoffs last time.

What? You'd put Dak back in....

Y'all are insane if you think they couldn't get a 1st rounder out of Romo. The market for QBs is insane

Jerry is the only owner in the league that would trade a first round pick for Romo.

If he was healthy, he could put a team like Denver over the top to win another Super Bowl...but I don't see it happening. Dallas will want too much in return.

Tony Romo had his moments, but he has been a damn fine quarterback in recent years when healthy.

Yada, Yada, YADA!!

What's with the broken record in here?

So what? He put up great stats in the playoffs. Congratufrickinlations!! All that does is make him the poor man's Peyton Manning. Peyton did the same thing for most of his career. Great numbers no rings.

What seperates the two is Peyton got the rings. Romo never will.

Again, I like Romo. But he isn't getting any younger or healthier, and he isn't going to take Dallas to the Promised Land.

I just want to point out that in the NYG playoff game in 2007 Tony hit Patrick Clayton square in the hands for a game winning touchdown. And on the last play of the game where he threw the INT it was like 4th and 22 and he had to just throw it up for grabs

1. he actually has probablyt he most cap friendly deal for any upper level starting QB in the league that isn't on a rookie contract

2. if i'm the cardinals or jets and i'm looking at my roster, and i realize i'm ONLY a good QB away from a championship, i trade a first away and won't think twice.

you play to win the game. at the end of the day frick value.

Vikings got trade rapes in the Bradford deal. They're also 5 and 0 and a legit superbowl team

Not trying to troll but you realize within all likely hood, Saint fans will be doing the same in 13 years right? Super Bowls can be few and far between

(I'm assuming you are a saints fan)

I don't think they did. They are loaded on defense and not many teams can say that. Now if they keep having players on offense get hurt then yeah, it could backfire this year. It would take an injury to Bradford to make that trade lopsided and given his history it could happen. It was a great trade for the Eagles and you can't complain if you are the Vikings at 5-0 like you said... so far anyway.

yeah but both of those teams are off to terrible starts and most likely will have a pretty high draft pick unless they rally big time (Jets more so than Arizona).

I think you could get away with something cheaper than a 1st rounder anyway. The last two injuries he's suffered came so abruptly. There should be leverage to work with because of that. And even if you pick him up you'd have to let him settle in for a few weeks you'd think. If you trotted him out there right off the jump you'd be asking for it!
