I've been alive for 49 years, and I honestly can't compare this to anything. From team play to one player doing otherworldly things, I've never seen anything like it.

Can you come up with anything?

The only thing I can equate it to is Barry bonds he chase & the 98 hr race, if we are just talking big 3 sports.

Short term, Michael phelps in Olympics & maybe some tennis greats

Has he always been this good? I don't really keep up with basketball, but I don't really remember hearing much about him till last season. Now he is all u hear about and deservedly so.

This is gonna get really fun a month from now when we get closer to the end of the season. I was 6 when the Bulls made their run, so I can't compare the two seasons, but with today's media, this wil get national attention from the news outlets

Gretzky. Very specialized scoring skills that were just on another level. And kind of above the fray in some way. I mean, when Curry had the ball at the end last night you knew he would hit a three. It had the feeling of inevitability. Gretzky was that way too. You knew it was coming.

I think the Bulls had more reach because they were linked to everything music tv radio movies etc. Plus you had a heralded return of the greatest, which made it more dramatic. If the Warriors win this year they'll get that treatment.

But it hasn't happened yet.

not to mention we are about to start to truly feel the effect of the media explosion thats about to hit the league. if they break the record and win the title this year, i think we will be approaching a new territory with this team and curry
