Spin: What about the hottest game you have been to?
Went to the Auburn vs Arkansas game back in 2014. It was miserable. Don't know the temperature of the game, but they sold out of water bottles and water by halftime. People were going to the restroom to fill the bottles back up.

The hottest game was vs Tulsa at Skelly in 98?
They had heat warnings and it was so bad that we couldn't warm up and TU wouldn't move game back until 8, they said it would cause traffic issues.
Our turf shoe bottoms were melting in the game.

LSU vs Auburn baseball game was in the high 40's several years ago. I don't mind freezing temps if I'm hiking or fishing, but I'm not going out in it to sit still on my arse for 3-4 hours.

Green Bay vs Lions in Lambeau several years ago on New Years Day. Temp was 12 degrees without the wind chill. Matt Flynn set all kinds of QB records that day.

Serious question:
How do people stay warm in the stands during these cold games?
I mean we had gore tex triple layers on shirts and socks and running tights on on the field and we're moving around.
I couldn't wear triple layers underneath or start sweating so usually I had a mock turtleneck a workout shirt or sweatshirt and my pullover or coat.

Tiger Stadium in the early 80's. It was sleeting and in the 20's. We stayed until the end. (I was dating a guy who didn't believe in leaving until the end of the game.)

2005 3a State Championship game
Independece Stadium
Shreveport, LA
Redemptorist vs Notre Dame played up there because of Katrina. It was like low teens at kick off.

2006 NFC Championship game. I think it was 26° at kickoff, dropping to lower 20's with a mix of snow/sleet.

Army-Navy in Philly... 2003 or 2004.
Cold, ice, snow.
Smuggled in a handle of rum.

1992 LSU @ Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR
Game started with temp around 17 degrees, dropped to 8 degrees by the end of the game. Arkansas won the game 30-6. There was ice on the artificial turf
Game also noted for two items:
LSU fan screaming at Coach Hallman after the game we had hit rock bottom
Some LSU players drinking alcohol on the team plane back to Baton Rouge and getting busted by Coach Hallman

I was gutted because I had lost a ton on the Saints/49ers game the day before and the last thing I wanted to do was make small talk with the CEO and clients about work shite and then that day I lost even more (like - a teacher's salary)
You are such a douche.

Braves @ Giants July 98. 52° at first pitch with a 20 mph wind. Wasn't prepared for that in July.
