In honor of the -20 wind chill expected in Minnesota today.

I went to the 2002 Cotton Bowl between OU and Arkansas. It was sleeting and the wind chill was in the low 20s/teens. The sleet made it feel colder than it really was.

Took a girl to an LSU game as a first date.

Called her the wrong name twice before kick off.

Coldest I've ever been treated at a game, by far.

The 2000 Independence Bowl in the snow between State and A&M. High 20's with about 6 inches of snow.

I got to the Superdome early for a game in the 2001 season. I think the A/C was cranked up. It had to be about 65 in that fricking place. Wish I would've had a jacket.

I was a freshmen when the football state championship games had to be in Shreveport instead of the dome because of Katrina.

It was unbearable. I think it was maybe 10 degrees, but a really wet cold. We were all huddled up by the heaters on the sideline, which did jack shite.

Tulane and LSU in 1983? We won 33-15 and a huge fight broke out at the end of the game.

That and being so cold I drank about a liter of hot chocolate from the concessions is all I remember.

Went to a HS playoff game a few years ago. 10° at kickoff. Windy and snowing.

Three Rivers Stadium in mid 80s. Late November game. Pretty sure it was against the Pats.

Lsu Troy game in 08. I was working for the team at the time and was on the field in shorts and a light sweatshirt. I seriously thought I was gonna die. I was huddled up with Ron Brooks in front of the heater until I got bitched at

Mates, I would say the Giants / Packers divisional game in January of 2012.

Thank God I was in a work suite, but I was gutted because I had lost a ton on the Saints/49ers game the day before and the last thing I wanted to do was make small talk with the CEO and clients about work shite and then that day I lost even more (like - a teacher's salary) because when the Giants won that means I missed the chance to sell like 90 NFC Championship game tickets to the Giants at Saints game.

The coldest game I've ever been to, period, was a high school baseball game I played in. 12° outside, but unsure of the wind chill factor, and it was windy. I caught a throw down at 3rd base in the 1st inning and couldn't feel 4 fingers the rest of the game. Was not fun.

The Utah game in 1976 - bone chilling cold, sparse after Thanksgiving crowd. Someone started a fire in the south end zone to keep warm.

Played vs UNI in Springfield (Warner's Sr year) it was -5 wind chill.

Coldest I have ever felt though was during a lake effect snow storm vs Youngstown St. It snowed 3" to 4" in 2nd half we were losing by 28 and couldn't get ball past our 25 and our punts wouldn't go past their 45. So the field from their 40 on was solid white rest looked like nothing was going on. Had a Hat break and I couldn't wear gloves and turn the driver. A fricking screw stuck to my finger also.
