Tristan Thompson is a great player to come off the bench but he in no shape or form should be signed on for 15 mill a year.

Totally agree.

No it doesn't. If he leaves and we sign TT for 15 mill we are already over the Cap.

Lebron - 22 mill
Kyrie - 18 mill
TT - 15 mill
Verajo - 10 mill

Those 4 players are 65 mill right there. Shump is probably gonna get ~8 mill. Mozgov is at ~5.

They need to keep Kevin Love and lock him up long term with his bird rights.

The issue with TT is going to be that Lebron apparently wants him to stay and Lebron is essentially a co-GM.

But I totally agree with you about him. Fairly athletic big guys with zero offensive skillset, good rebounding, and solid defense are a dime a dozen. You don't give that type of player 15 mill unless he's letting you bang his hot wife or something.

As of now, Miami isnt going to pay him. They are going back on their word. In fact, what they are offering him is disrespectfull. The rumor mill has him leaving Miami as of now. Most people think Cleveland or Chicago are likely destinations.

Is Wade going to sign for the MLE? I'm just curious where this cap space is going to come from to sign him?

ETA: the only logical trade (and this is only logical if Miami likes Shumpert) would be a sign and trade of Shumpert (at a reasonable price) along with Haywood and a 1st to Miami for Wade. That's a long shot and contingent upon Miami liking Shumpert and agreeing to what they feel is a fair deal and Shumpert wanting to play in Miami.

Random thought of the day..

Cavs should try and flip Haywood's contract for a sign and trade deal with Rondo.

Kyrie could play minutes at the 2 and the Cavs have an actual backup PG on the roster.

Dude has a bad attitude. And he hates Lebron.
