Not sure there's another NFL team that embodies this more than the Patriots.

Well on the face of it sure. But I've already stated earlier that Belichick actually gets to know his players and even socializes with them outside of football on occasion, something that Kelly stated he doesn't feel the need to do. So there isn't this strict coach/player relationship in the Pats culture. People buy in because the coach actually gives a damn about them.

Didn't read the whole thread, but maybe THEY were the problem and that's why Chip got rid of them and they're speaking out because they're the shitty people who would cause a disruption in the locker room? Why is it automatically Chip's fault?

Well Boykin was coached in college by a coach who had 0 control and Kelly is a coach who wants total control. Mark Richt has lost control over nfl coachs

I could see him ending up back in college.

Some Coaches never get over the idea that these are their kids.

At a certain point a lot of players feel like they are your co-workers if not higher up than you.

How many boxes get paid half of what their employee makes?

that is what I'm thinking too.

the Eagles like to play fast so its not like their playbook can be all that complex.

they are just hoping to mess up the communication of a defense before the ball is snapped or prevent you from getting different personnel on the field???

I remember rumblings about how teams had figured out Nick Foles. You think?

i mean come on, if you can deal with their tempo, it really can't be a big deal can it?

and Foles had a good record as a starter too but you wouldn't know the way they traded him off for Bradford who has crappy luck with injuries.

the Eagles had clutch play from their special teams and defense last year too though.

it wasn't really all about the offense. Their D got a lot of sacks so I mean their front 7 is obviously good.

I'm not knocking Kelly at all but I don't think its ridiculous to think he'll go back to the college game at some point.

Bradford might be the right QB for his system but I guess I'm a skeptic because Bradford has had shitty luck getting hurt.

they had 3 different players score on kick returns last year and added another three TD's on blocked punts. Sorry.. but I don't see that happening again this year.

no one knows whats going to happen.

everybody has an opinion.

No, you won't get a long winded argument from me.

I'm just an uneducated rube who watches a lot of football so I'll always say shite people don't like.

I think the Eagles are a lock over ATL in Week 1 though barring some fricked up injury to a key player.

So no, I'm not taking a dump on the Eagles here. They got Murray at RB and Jordan Matthews is gonna be a good WR.

but Kelly will go back to the college game at some point... just my opinion.

If you are black and don't get along with somebody it always has to be "racism". It can never be that one or the other person involved is just a garden variety a-hole.
