Chino Hills Mater Dei Semi Final Overtime

LaMelo - 28 points
LiAngelo - 28 points

Bol - 14 points and 15 rebounds

*SPOILERS*

Glad to see them lose. The sad thing is that's it's primarily because of the way their father acts.

LaMelo's range is crazy and his handles are solid, but rarely it seems does he use them to drive past defenders. When he does he struggles to finish inside. Only a soph so time to work on that.

Bol looks pretty nasty. As mentioned he had a double double with points/blocks but I'm curious as to how many blocks he had. It seems like atleast half a dozen.

I stand by the statements that Chino Hills would be just another team in Louisiana... we're too athletic here. I wonder if they'd freak if someone got physical with them

I want to agree with you, but they have gone toe to toe with Mater Dei, Oak Hill, etc. Some will call me a hater but I'm just not a fan of their play style. Absolutely irked me to watch the highlights of that 92 point game by LaMelo. That wasn't basketball.

#0 plays pretty physical for CH. #21 plays big too and I just realized that he's only a soph.

they're gonna claim they're the most hyped high school team in America, but most of that is people wanting to see them lose.

and some of these teams jumping all around, need someone as an enforcer when others try to thug the game up as they will

Yes we know Louisiana has more athletes per capita than any other state.

Apparently Louisiana is now the Mecca of high school basketball.

If true they could do a bit better job of keeping more at home to play for the biggest state school, might get to 3 conference wins

well film your team's youtube videos better so it doesn't look like Madison Prep can work them by 20...

Mater Dei looked like their coaching was infinitely better than CH.

I hate the way all three of them play. From the weird arse jump shot to forcing terrible long jumpers to taking defensive possessions off.

Lonzo is the only 5* talent of the brothers. The middle one isn't highly regarded. They beat mater dei by 50 last year with lonzo running the show.

Lamelo is better than Lonzo it's just a matter of him getting that 2nd growth spurt. Melo from 5'10 to 6'1 this summer he needs 1 more and he'll be one of the greatest prospects ever.

Also Chino Hills would beat any team in Louisiana by 30

Yep. 5 minutes in and multiple players from Chino have taken 28 ft 3's for no good reason.

What is interesting is they went insanely viral this year without Lonzo.
