No problem with Michael Taylor at the top of the lineup every day? He of career .272 OBP.
When he was with the Cubs, he put Neifi Perez and Corey Patterson at the top of the lineup so many times it was insane.

Eh. It's one more game until Revere is back. Most of us wanted Werth and Taylor switched while Revere was out, but the team is winning so the bitching died down.
There's also the matter of Papelbon (frick Papelbon), but that's kind of a no-win situation.

It's just an impossible, stupid take. He's basically saying that, after the fact, if the guy doesn't score I wish he'd have never gotten on base in the first place. Problem is, Dusty doesn't know if that guy is going to come around. And, there's the whole thing with baserunners meaning a pitch count is being driven up, baserunners being able to manipulate a defense, force throw overs, threat to steal (well, the black baserunners), etc.
