Nats primer for this game sponsored by Dusty Baker's wristbands:

Taylor - sub-replacement that K's on everything. Revere will be back either today or tomorrow.

Rendon - well below his historical numbers (people forget he was top 4 in MVP two years ago) and power has disappeared.

Harper - Is Harper, but is currently in a slump. Hit a homer last night, but on a terrible swing.

Zimmerman - Coming around after a bad start. Had been lighting it up on this road trip.

Murphy - Dude can flat out rake. Hitting 400.

Werth - Looks old and broke down most of the time but had made good contact lately. A liability on defense.

Ramos - having a great year. Slow as dirt, good power, has been great throwing out runners.

Espinosa - just a guy. Keeping the seat warm for Trea Turner.

Ross - Second year player has been lights out. Also can hit his dick off. Has been used as a PH multiple times this year with great success.

If Murphy doesn't get hit at least once, I'll be mad

Nice rundown. I like Rendon and Harper.

Going out on a limb here, and I may be way off base, but the odds of Daniel Murphy getting a warm reception are.....not good.

I uploaded it on 6/22/15, and I think it was uploaded while I was at the game, so that would mean it was against the Dodgers, a 4-2 [ W ]

That was the dodgers last year, right?

I only remember it because of this awesome addition to the photo

probably, i don't know much about him, but i do know the cubs can work a pitcher better than any team out there and he's not faced the likes of this lineup yet.

Kalish and lastella playing. Meaning soler, baez and heyward on the bench. Or what braves fan would call a 'middle of the order'

They had Nicasio at like 80 pitches after 3 innings yesterday. They will make Ross work for sure.

Fastball 94/95, slider, change. Great command. Best pitch is the slider. Might throw too many strikes, honestly. Doesn't get rattled.

And like I said, he might be one of the best hitters on the team.

But he's young and hasn't been challenged and is due to get knocked around at some point.

#Cubs lineup vs Nats: Fowler CF, La Stella 2B, Bryant 3B, Rizzo 1B, Zobrist RF, Kalish LF, Russell SS, Federowicz C, Hendricks P

No Heyward, Baez, or Soler

No Heyward is odd, but knowing maddon means kalish goes off

Can't beat playoff feel in May

Wrist is hurt. I guess at least he hasn't been put on the DL yet so there's hope

Makes me believe J-Hey's hand or whatever is a tad more serious than originally thought. Figured if he was healthy he'd be in there for sure.

Baez out is the surprise here.

Who knows, could just be Maddon be Maddon.
