Maddon be like, when the sun sets after 7:35 cst, and wind is blowing off the lake at 5 mph, and first pitch is after 7pm cst, then La Stella at 2nd. Oh wait, wind is now 8 mph? La Stella at 3rd."

FYI, Neil Ramirez to the Bereavement List (3-7 days) following a death in his family; Spencer Patton recalled.

I uploaded it on 6/22/15, and I think it was uploaded while I was at the game, so that would mean it was against the Dodgers, a 4-2 [ W ]

I was at that game as well. Bryant put a hurting on Kershaw and Tsuyoshi Wada didn't make it out of the third.

I'm seriously considering leaving Ross on the bench in my fantasy league just because of the fact that he's pitching against the Cubs tonight. I've already been bitten in the butt once by having Gerrit Cole activated when he pitched against us.

I'm currently listening to one play in our office. But the shots and margs they have out have Cuervo. Chitown Badger doesn't drink that shite, unless he's really thirsty.

Don't actively provoke the run avalanche that is the Cubs offense in fantasy, it can only hurt you.

Please everyone remember that the Nats are managed by the guy who said this:

quote:

On-base percentage is great if you can score runs and do something with that on-base percentage. Clogging up the bases isn't that great to me. The problem we have to address more than anything is the home run problem.

and this:

quote:

I think walks are overrated unless you can run... If you get a walk and put the pitcher in a stretch, that helps. But the guy who walks and can't run, most of the time they're clogging up the bases for somebody who can run.

I don't know, maybe Dusty isn't the same. But I doubt that.

So far I love Dusty.

Only complaint I have is he is sometimes still up to his old tricks of leaving the starter in too long. I think Roark went for 124 pitches a couple weeks ago.

Call me crazy, but I always saw men on base as RBI opportunities, not come base-clogging liability.
