Scoop on mandeville is not the offense, it's the defense. Put up 14 pts in the opener and 21 Friday.
QB is raw with a big arm, getting better every week but still makes poor throws and poor reads at sometimes but as I said he is getting better. The offense gets so many opportunities because the defense keeps giving them the ball back. Weiner will have a plan for mandeville QB. The kid hits the hots and the D does there job it will be a good one.
I would compare Glenn to an Aaron Brooks type QB. he will make some great plays and throws but then a poor decision..He cuts those down he gets better.

Sounds a lot like the Catholic QB. He uses his legs effectively and can throw the ball. He also throws an interception sometimes at very bad times. The defense has had to step up a lot for that. The good thing is the offense has usually scored a lot so there is breathing room.

Winner of Ouachita vs Rummel

Catholic needs to be pulling hard for Ouachita here... Obviously Rummel is good, but if Ouachita wins it'll be the first semifinal that Catholic has hosted in god knows how long.

I'm not sure what you mean, but its just your average 5a stadium, similar in size to a St Paul's.

So it'll be strength vs strength (Catholic O vs Mandeville D) and weakness vs weakness (Mandeville O vs Catholic D)?

Catholic QB has only thrown 4 or 5 INT's all season, and altho there is never a good time, only "very bad time" was late in playoff game against Carencro. I think key to game (for Catholic) is their ability to contain Mandeville QB in pocket...in first game of season he would get flushed out of pocket, then run upfield for 20 yards

Any word on Mandeville MLB? I heard he was hurt and questionable for game...he was all over field and dominant in first meeting

A couple of my buddies that played when we are at Catholic are going. Kinda pisses me off because I want to party here after the LSU game.

I'm assuming this will be on TV? Did you go to Mandeville?

Its definitely not their strength. It seems like its been their offense and especially running game that has been winning them games

The D has had a few goal-line stands and stopped the 2 point conversion that would have won the game for Carencro.

I was at that Evangel game. I remember that they had a band with about 20 people in it. Catholic didn't know what hit them.

Huh???

ECA was the #1 team in the nation with the National Player of the Year. Catholic was like a 4-5 TD underdog and played an incredible game to make it close.
